In June 2006, Brooke took her first short term mission trip to Costa Rica to serve with a team alongside of Mark and Meg. Brooke and her husband, Matt, began to pray about their involvement in the ministry in the months following her trip. They returned as a couple to Costa Rica in November, 2006. While shadowing Mark and Meg during that trip, God revealed His plan for their family.
Matt and Brooke are the ministry directors in Tejarcillos and
oversee the evangelism and discipleship activities in that area.
Melinda graduated from Taylor University (IN) in June of 2005 and then went to Costa Rica that summer to begin serving the Lord full time with Christian Light Foundation. She is in her fourth year of full time service.
Melinda is in charge of many important areas of the growing ministry such as
hospitality, micro business development, and teaching English classes.

Rogelio and his wife, Neris, worked alongside of Mark and Meg in the ministry for two years teaching Sunday school and assisting in outreach activities. They started full time in the ministry in July, 2007.
Rogelio is the pastor of the New Life Church of Tejarcillos and is focusing on
teaching, preaching, and leading discipleship groups of youth and adults.
Mark and Meg started language school in Costa Rica in September of 2002, and then began to work full time in the areas of Los Guido and Tejarcillos with Christian Light Foundation in September of 2003.
Mark and Meg oversee the day to day ministry activities
while focusing on teaching God's Word in the discipleship groups.
Mark met Domingo José (Coco) on his first missions trip to Venezuela in the summer of 2001. Coco was there to assist with outreach and follow-up activities as Mark and Meg continued to lead teams back to Venezuela. He moved to Costa Rica in January, 2008 to join the ministry full-time.
Coco is the Director of New Church Plants and oversees the evangelism and discipleship
activities in the new areas that the ministry enters to share the gospel and plant churches.
